Street Feast group sees revenue grow by 40% amid ‘steady progress'

London Union, the parent company of Street Feast, saw revenue grow by 40% to £12.8m in 2017 as it "continued to make steady progress".

During the year London Union opened its first seven-day-a-week operation in Canary Wharf and secured a site in Woolwich which has since opened along with the group's sixth street food market in Wood Green.

Market profitability across the group increased by 14% in 2017, after opening costs for sites and events were taken into account.

The group reported gross profit of £6.9m, up from £5.5m the previous year, but despite this files posted to Companies House show a pre-tax loss of £1.5m.

The directors said: "The London market has continued to trade strongly and directors are confident there remain good conditions for further growth."
