Sodexo has launched its first outlet of health-food offering Crussh after agreeing on a franchising deal with the high-street chain last year.
Specialising in juices and healthy food, the site launched by Sodexo Ambassador and former England Rugby captain Matt Dawson in the main building of City, University of London on Northampton Square, Islington.
Sodexo has operated on the site since 2014, catering to the university's 18,000 students and staff. The Crussh outlet is the first of several planned to launch at Sodexo client sites throughout the year.
Simon Knight, managing director for universities at Sodexo UK & Ireland said: "We are delighted to welcome Crussh at City, University of London. The university is committed to promoting healthier eating habits for both staff and students and the introduction of Crussh as one of our catering offers helps support the university to achieve this.
"We are looking forward to bringing this innovative and healthy brand to more of our clients and customers in the near future."
Crussh CEO Shane Kavanagh added: "We are delighted to open our first university outlet. We know the university well, and it's really exciting to be able to introduce healthy, nutritious food to campus. We can't wait to get going and think this is a great opportunity to positively impact the wellbeing of students and staff on site."
