Social Pantry wins two City of London catering contracts

Independent caterer Social Pantry has won two new catering contracts with the Central Criminal Court (Old Bailey) and Mansion House in the City of London.

 

It comes after the business was named as the exclusive caterer for Tower Bridge in May.

 

From 1 September, Social Pantry will be responsible for managing all 13 catering concepts across the Old Bailey and Mansion House  and provide its services for official state functions.

 

Mansion House is a Grade I-listed building offering spaces for business meeting, civic and livery activity, conferences, receptions, dinners and art collections. Its largest events space, the Egyptian Hall, can host dinners for up to 350 guests.

 

Meanwhile, the Old Bailey has two main bookable event spaces, including the Grand Hall, which can hold up to 240 guests for a seated dinner or 350 guests for a standing reception. The smaller Judges Dining Room can hold up to 80 reception guests.

Social Pantry was founded by Head in 2011 and works with over 70 venues across London, including Somerset House, the National Gallery, and the Royal Academy of Arts.

 

Over a tenth of the staff at Social Pantry are ex-offenders.
