Simon Griffiths named operations director of Liberation Group

Simon Griffiths has been appointed operations director of Liberation Group.

He is responsible for Butcombe Pubs & Inns in England, which was acquired by the group in 2014, and Liberation Pubs & Bars on the Channel Islands.

Griffiths started his career in hospitality in 1999, working his way up the ranks of Loch Fyne until he was made operations manager in 2012, where he oversaw the group’s hotels.

In 2018, he moved into pubs, looking after sites in London’s Kensington, Chelsea, Knightsbridge and Bayswater. He then joined Premium & Urban Pubs South as operations manager in 2020 and in December 2022 he began working for Liberation Group.
