Sheffield Metropolitan hotel becomes Oyo’s largest UK property

Fast expanding brand Oyo Homes & Hotels has signed its largest UK to date with the addition to its portfolio of the 112-bedroom Sheffield Metropolitan hotel.

Located on the bank of the River Don in the heart of the city, the hotel will be operated by Oyo under a lease agreement with its owner, London Town Group.

Oyo has signed 100 hotels in 25 towns and cities in the UK since launching into the country in October 2018. Worldwide, the Indian-based business has more than 23,000 hotels across 800 cities and 80 countries.

London Town Group owns eight hotels operating under a number of international brands including Holiday Inn, Hotel Indigo, Mercure and Travelodge.
