Shake up a Cisco Sour from Lucho at Mandarin Oriental

Cisco-Sour--chicken-at-Lucho.jpg

Bring a taste of Chile and east Asia to your cocktail menu with this sharp yet balanced creation.

The Cisco Sour is served at the recently-opened Chilean restaurant Lucho at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park in Mayfair, London.

The cocktail, created by executive chef Francisco ‘Cisco’ Hernandez, is a twist on a pisco sour, bringing together South American and Asian influences, and combining citrus flavours with a dash of sweetness and floral notes.

Ingredients

  • 50ml Chilean ABA pisco
  • 10ml sake
  • 20ml yuzu juice
  • 20ml sugar syrup
  • 15ml egg white

Method

Pour all ingredients into a shaker, shake with ice and strain into a coup glass. Garnish with grated lime zest and dash of Angostura bitters.
