Serviced apartment operators celebrate at 2017 ASAP awards

Cycas Hospitality, the Prem Group and the Serviced Apartment Company (SACO), were all double winners in the 2017 Serviced Apartments Industry Awards, announced last night.

 

Cycas Hospitality, the owner and operator of extended stay brands including InterContinental Hotel Group’s Staybridge Suites and Marriott’s Residence Inn, carried off the Investment in People and Rising Star awards, the latter for Kimberley Barber.

 

Dublin-based Prem Group was honoured for its two sub-brands in the Guest Experience (Premier Suites Plus) and Corporate Business of the Year (Premier Suite) categories.

 

Meanwhile, SACO came up trumps by winning the Corporate Account Management and Industry Breakthrough & Innovation â€" Agents & Operators awards and receiving a highly commended in the Corporate Business of the Year category.

 

James Foice, chief executive of the ASAP, described this year’s entries as “truly outstanding”.

 

He added: “There is so much incredible innovation, talent, dedication and excellence in this vibrant and highly successful global growth sector, it’s so important to recognise this through our annual ASAP awards programme.”

 

AÂ gala dinner followed the annual ASAP conference.
