Plans have been approved for Bike & Boot’s second hotel in the Peak District National Park’s Hope Valley.
Set to open March 2022, the new hotel will be the second of the Bike & Boot brand and follows the opening of the 65-bedroom Scarborough site (pictured) in July last year, which saw occupancy levels of up to 95%. The company has three further sites in various stages of planning, across the north of England, the Midlands, Wales and Scotland.
The brand is designed as a modern leisure escape for walkers, cyclists, surfers and dog owners, as well as those wishing to get away for a relaxing break.
Interior design consultancy Rachel McLane has been enlisted to design the property, having also worked on the Scarborough hotel.
Simon Rhatigan and Simon Kershaw, co-founders of Bike & Boot Inns, said: “We are thrilled with the location of the next Bike & Boot hotel; it’s another site that hugely complements the ethos of the brand. With the strong demand for staycations and the success of our first hotel in Scarborough, we feel confident that our second site will be well received.”
