The Sea Containers London hotel on the South Bank has launched its first subscription service for regular guests, with monthly rates starting from £1,550.
Members of the ‘Commuter Club’ will receive overnight stays, gym access and a cabin trunk at the hotel for personal storage.
The service has been divided into three tiers: the ‘part timer’, which includes 60 stays a year for £1,550; the ‘regular traveller’, which includes 90 stays a year for £2,300; and the ‘committed commuter’, which includes 120 stays a year for £2,700.
‘Committed commuters’ will also be able to use 10% of their stays across the Lore Group’s wider hotel portfolio, which includes Pulitzer Amsterdam, One Hundred Shoreditch and Riggs & Lyle DC.
Subscribed guests will have access to private meeting and dining rooms for an additional fee.
They will also have the option to name up to three family members or friends who will also be able to use the room nights within their subscription.
PJ Kenny, general manager of Sea Containers London, said: “We have seen an increase in our regular guests, who stay multiple nights throughout the month, and with the rise of the digital nomad well underway we wanted to create a monthly membership program which would offer a flexible and accommodating package for those who aren’t based in London but have to regularly travel to the city for work or other commitments.”
Sea Containers London first opened in September 2014 and features 359 bedrooms and suites.
