Rudding Park has scooped the Best Fully Integrated Marketing Campaign award at the Hotel Marketing Association awards.
The hotel near Harrogate was one of six businesses recognised at the event, which took place at the W London, Leicester Square. Rudding Park's campaign to promote its new £9.5m spa (pictured) was praised by the judges for its clever use of multiple channels.
Park Plaza hotels left with the Best Use of Social Media in Marketing award for its London Revealed campaign, while Hilton Worldwide won the Best Partnership Marketing Campaign award for its work with Goodwood Festival of Speed, and LAW Creative's Radisson Blu ‘As Committed as You' campaign won the Most Creative Activity by an Agency award.
Meanwhile, Wildsmith Hotels and its agency Fat Media won the hard-fought Best Website & SEO Marketing award, and InterContinental London Park Lane marketing director Stephen Moran won the coveted Young Marketer of the Year award.
They added: âHe showed excellent career progression and had taken the initiative to learn other disciplines to support his wider understanding as well as being clearly passionate about passing on knowledge to others.â
Hotel Marketing Association chairman Steve Lowy said: âThe breadth of the entries demonstrated just how creative, innovative and engaging hospitality marketing is. The best campaigns were those that were SMART, well thought through, collaborative and engaged with their targeted audiences.â
