London hotels recorded the highest average daily (ADR) and revenue per available room rates (revpar) on record during July, according to latest figures from data company STR.
Tennis at Wimbledon at the beginning of the month helped push up hotel performance, with ADR increasing by 3.3% to £176.07 and revpar up 2.4% to £159.30.
Although occupancy was slightly down by 0.9% to 90.5%, the capital enjoyed an occupancy rate of over 90% for 20 nights.
The 1.5% increase in room supply was ahead of a 0.6% increase in demand.
STR will release its full July results later this month.
