Quinton O'Shea joins Burnham Beeches hotel as GM

Burnham Beeches hotel near Slough has appointed Quinton O'Shea as general manger, ahead of the property's relaunch under the Laura Ashley brand.

Owned by Corus Hotels, the 82-bedroom property is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment ahead of the rebranding, when it will officially become the third hotel in the Laura Ashley Hotels portfolio.

Quinton has 20 years of experience working in the hospitality industry in South Africa, Ireland and the UK. Prior to joining Burnham Beeches, O'Shea was general manager of three unique island hotels Solent Forts, owned by Clarenco's Amazing Venues collection, having previously run sister property Chateau Rhianfa in Menai Bridge, North Wales. Earlier roles included stints at Ramada, Millennium Copthorne and Intercontinental Hotels Group.

O'Shea said: "I am delighted and very privileged to have joined the Burnham Beeches hotel team at such an exciting time as we approach the hotel's highly anticipated rebranding as a Laura Ashley hotel. I'm looking forward to sharing my passion and experience with the team and to start this new adventure together."

Burnham Beeches will join the Belsfield in Windermere, Cumbria, and the Chace hotel in Coventry within Laura Ashley Hotels. The hotel opened the first Laura Ashley Tthe Tea Room in August 2018, the first of a collection which now numbers nine.
