PPHE Hotel Group is to open its first boutique property with the launch of the 118-bedroom Holmes Hotel London.
The company, which is best known for its Park Plaza brand of hotels and resorts, has created the hotel from what was previously the Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes London.
Located on Chiltern Street, the property has undergone a multimillion-pound repositioning and refurbishment with a design within four Georgian buildings created by Digital Space.
Overseen by head chef Stefano Motta, the menu will offer an eclectic collection of dishes using British produce, including Scottish scallop tartare with yuzu basil and green chilli; courgette spaghetti with pistachio, basil and smoked ricotta; and buffalo ricotta pancakes with orange marmalade. Kitchen at Holmes will open on 12 June.
Daniel Pedreschi, regional general manager UK of PPHE Hotel Group, will oversee the operation of Holmes Hotel London.
Boris Ivesha, president & chief executive, PPHE Hotel Group, said: "We are
excited to open the doors of our first major repositioning project in 2019. We look forward to welcoming our local neighbours and international guests this spring to showcase our new premium boutique hotel which is reflective of the iconic personality and ambience of Marylebone.
