Pizza Pilgrims offers students the chance to become official taster and earn £1,500

Pizza Pilgrims is offering an Oxford student the chance to become an official pizza taster, with £1,500 and free pizza for a year up for grabs.

Applications for the position at the brand's Oxford pizzeria will be accepted from 17 September and be open to all Oxford Brookes and Oxford University students.

Interested students will need to fill out a form on the restaurant's website and submit a video explaining why they are perfect for the role.

Finalists will be invited to compete in a series of tasks, including pizza box folding, pizza spinning and pizza delivery before the official taster is crowned.

The taster will be required to come in once a week with up to three friends to complete free quality control tastings, as well as act as a Pizza Pilgrims ambassador and create an ‘Oxford special' pizza.
