Petersham Nurseries has announced details of the two restaurants and bar it will open in London's Covent Garden in April.
The Petersham and La Goccia restaurants, together with La Goccia bar, will join the existing homeware shop, delicatessen, wine cellar and florist which launched in summer 2017.
Chef director Damian Clisby is overseeing the food concepts of the new outlets alongside Lara Boglione, managing director and daughter of Francesco and Gael Boglione, the funders of the renowned Petersham Nurseries in Richmond, Surrey.
The Petersam will be an a la carte restaurant, open for lunch and dinner, which will reflect the Slow Food philosophy of Petersham Nurseries, with a focus on top quality, seasonal produce with an Italian flavour. Customers will be able to order handmade pasta and gnocchi, organic meat from Haye Farm, garden salads from Petersham Nurseries, and desserts such as original bean chocolate with Zisola olive oil and sea salt.
La Goccia will have an open kitchen, wood fired oven, large grill and dining bar. It will be open all day and will provide a simpler food offer with the likes of pizzette, fritti, Tuscan-style sausages and grilled vegetables.
The restaurants will be accessible via Floral Street and King Street and flow into the central courtyard of Floral Court.
