Lincat has promoted their group export manager Paul Godfrey to the role of group sales & marketing director, where he will be responsible for the management and growth of UK sales across the Lincat, FriFri, IMC and Britannia brands.
Godfrey joined Lincat in 2018 having previously managed logistics firm Socamel UK, having previously spending 18 years at Hobart Cooking Solutions.
Godfrey commented: “Working on growing the export side of the business has been fantastic, but I’m now ready for a new challenge. It’s an exciting time for the business, as we create a closer synergy with our sister brands IMC and Britannia, with a strong pipeline of new products being developed. I’m looking forward to helping bring these new products to the market, and further strengthening the excellent relationships we have with our partners and end users both here in the UK and overseas across all four brands.”
Chris Jones, UK group managing director of Middleby Commercial Foodservice, added: “Our strategy for 2019 has been to develop closer working partnerships with our sister companies, IMC and Britannia, so we are able to provide dealers and end users with a one-stop solution for all kitchen and back bar needs. This move is enabling us to develop new, innovative products, expand into new markets, and increase market share – things which have been driven by Paul in his export role. His promotion is well deserved and I’m looking forward to seeing the positive impact he’ll have on our future growth.”
