Paul Bayliss has been appointed general manager of Harbour Hotel Southampton, the group’s flagship property.
Bayliss has over 30 years’ experience in the industry, having recently joined the 119-room Southampton property from Bespoke Hotel’s Hotel Brooklyn, where he was regional general manager.
Bayliss has also held roles at Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, Carden Park Hotel – Cheshire’s Country Estate, the Midland hotel in Manchester and De Vere Hotels.
He became a Master Innholder in 2022 and completed the Cornell University General Mangers (International) Programme.
Earlier in his career, Bayliss spent 24 years in the British Army in a variety of roles including apprentice chef and commissioned officer.
