Patrick Harbour has left his role as executive director of CH&Co, two years after joining the business following its merger with Harbour & Jones.
The departure follows CH&Co’s completion of the acquisition of Gather & Gather from Mitie, which will continue to be led by managing director Allister Richards.
Where previously CH&Co managing directors reported in to Harbour (pictured, centre) they will now report directly to chief executive Bill Toner (pictured, left).
The business has also announced the recruitment of Nick Clegg from BaxterStorey to take the position of sales director.
Toner said that Harbour had left the business at the end of August “having decided that the time was right to move on to new adventures”.
He added: “The team and I thank him for his wonderful contribution to the business and we wish him all the very best.”
Harbour had founded caterer Harbour & Jones with Nathan Jones in 2004. Jones opened the Hog hotel in Suffolk earlier this year.
Toner added: “With the acquisition of Gather & Gather and Creativevents these are exciting times for CH&Co, which will bring further growth opportunities.
“As the business continues to grow, we’ve introduced a structure that better supports our clients and people, with our managing directors reporting directly to me with complete responsibility for their business.
“This, of course, includes Gather & Gather’s managing director, Allister Richards, who I’m really looking forward to working with. The new structure strengthens our business and makes it easier for our clients to do business with us, bringing them closer to the decision makers.
“I’m also pleased that Nick Clegg has joined us as group sales director as we continue to focus on growth. Nick has a wealth of industry experience, most recently as sales director for Baxter Storey, and is a key appointment as we look to unlock market opportunities available to us.”
