The Miami-inspired hotel was opened by Nicolas Roach, founder of the Harbour Hotels brand, in 2022.
The Nici in Bournemouth has secured a multi-million pound financial package from HSBC UK to support its expansion plans.
The Miami-inspired hotel and resort launched in 2022 with 73 bedrooms following a £26m investment and an 18-month transformation of what was previously the Savoy hotel.
It now has 91 bedrooms, a spa and multiple dining outlets, including the recently opened Old Harry Rocks Bar & Restaurant.
The funding from HSBC will provide further investment in the restaurant, as well as enabling future growth of the Nici brand as it sets eyes on plotting sites across the UK.
The Nici was launched by Nicolas Roach, who is best known for creating the Harbour Hotels group.
Speaking to The Caterer in 2022, Roach said: “I would like to think we could open around five Nici hotels over the next five to six years. But we are not in a rush, the purpose of the brand is to enjoy it.”
Chris Liddiard, relationship director at HSBC UK Real Estate Finance Hotels, said: “We’re delighted to support the growth of such an exciting hotel brand. Where businesses have ambitions to grow, we have the expertise to provide bespoke funding solutions that support management plans and help to make them reality.”
