The Natural History Museum in London has launched a series of new event spaces, including a Garden Kitchen.

The South Kensington venue is offering exclusive hire of the entire Museum for large-scale, full-day events.

Those who are looking to host brand launches, filming events, conferences and full-scale activations will be given access to the Hintze Hall, Earth Hall, Dinosaur Gallery and Wildlife Photographer of the Year Gallery.

The Museum has also added a new Garden Kitchen, which is available for exclusive day-hire and evening events.

The open-plan space features wooden beams and expansive windows, making it particularly suited to summer parties.

Designed by architects Feilden Fowles, the timber and stone building can hold up to 300 standing and 100 for dinner and overlooks the Evolution Garden, home to diplodocus Fern.

The Garden Kitchen also includes a Garden Room, a purpose-built, 70-person meeting space with floor to ceiling windows.

During the day, the Garden Kitchen is open to the public and operated by Benugo.

Robert Wetherell, head of events and catering at the Natural History Museum, said: “We’re delighted to share the wonder of the Museum in a new way this year as we introduce, for the first time, the opportunity to exclusively hire the Museum for a full day, as well as opening our brand-new Garden Kitchen.

“We’re on a mission to create advocates for the planet, and hosting events at the Museum helps us to support the vital work of our 350 scientists, who are finding solutions to the planetary emergency.”
