Michelin green stars awarded to four restaurants in 2023 guide

Apricity and Crocadon among four restaurants awarded green stars for sustainable gastronomy in the Great Britain and Ireland Guide 2023.

Recipients of the Michelin green star included Chantelle Nicholson’s Apricity in London and Crocadon, Dan Cox’ restaurant located on a 120-acre organic farm in Cornwall.

Green stars are at the “forefront of a more sustainable approach to gastronomy”, recognising restaurants' sustainable practices, with any restaurant in the Michelin Guide is eligible.

Newly awarded green stars for 2023 were:

  • Apricity, London – Chantelle Nicholson
  • Crocadon, St Mellion – Dan Cox
  • Culture, Falmouth – Hylton Espey
  • Osip, Somerset – Merlin Labron-Johnson

First revealed in 2020, Great Britain and Ireland saw the green star award celebrated at a ceremony at Silverstone Circuit in Northampton, which is the first in-person event held by the guide in the UK in three years.
