Masala-spiced vodka tonic cocktail recipe

The Bindi from Churchill Bar & Terrace is an aromatic Indian-inspired drink with a stick of lemongrass to serve

Ingredients

  • 50ml Desi Daru vodka
  • 10ml Bitter Truth apricot liqueur
  • 1 splash cedro essence
  • 1 splash vetiver essence
  • 100ml tonic water
  • 5ml simple syrup
  • Half a stick of lemongrass

 

Method

 

Infuse the vodka for 24 hours with organic masala spice chai. Add all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker, including the half lemongrass stick.

 

Shake energetically and pour into a high-ball with a ‘pillar’ ice cube. Top up with tonic water.

 

For the presentation, paint the glass with white and red colouring. Finally, add one stick of lemongrass and serve.
