Mark Wahlberg's Wahlburgers to open London site this month

Wahlburgers, from brothers Paul, Donnie and Mark Wahlberg, is to open its first London restaurant later this month, more than a year after it was first announced.

The US burger chain will open its first restaurant outside North America in London's Covent Garden, in what the group had said would be the first of 50 in the UK over the next five years.

Wahlburgers is owned by chef Paul Wahlberg in partnership with two of his brothers, actors Donnie and Mark.

Wahlburgers opened its first restaurant in Massachusetts, US in 2011 and has since grown to 31 sites worldwide.
