Mark Hilton has been appointed CEO of bakery and patisserie group Paul.
Hilton had previously worked with the 37-site strong group as a non-executive director as well as supporting the international business as CEO of the group operating its 17-site franchise in Romania.
His most recent position was as CEO of the Sphera Franchise Group, which operates the franchises for KFC Romania, Italy and Moldova, as well as Pizza Hut and Taco Bell in Romania.
Hilton’s focus will be driving the growth of the brand in the UK, particularly developing opportunities outside of London.
He replaces Jean-Michel Orieux who stepped down as CEO last year, taking on a role of non-executive director with Paul International.
The incoming CEO said: “I am delighted to join Paul and am committed to taking the business forward with further openings, building on the work of Jean-Michel. Paul is a well-respected brand and I am confident that with my talented team we will be able to develop the core proposition to ensure it remains engaging and relevant. We will be looking to expand within London and throughout the UK, inviting investors to join the Paul family as new franchisees.”
