Lucy Knowles named managing director of Cosy Club

Lucy Knowles has been appointed managing director of all-day diner Loungers’ Cosy Club brand.

It comes after Loungers revealed plans to open at least 30 sites a year across its portfolio, which also includes Lounge and roadside restaurant Brightside.

Knowles was previously managing director of London-based bars Corney & Barrow and group marketing director of travel hub food and beverage operator SSP, where she led menu innovation across over 150 brands.

In her new role, which she is due to start in September, she will oversee the opening of the latest Cosy Club in Oxford in early October.

Loungers operates 235 sites across the UK including 197 Lounges, 35 Cosy Clubs and 3 Brightside restaurants.
