L+R Hotels has invested £25m in the development of the Mole Resort in Devon, which will launch in summer 2023.
The luxury resort will spread across 125 acres of countryside near the River Mole and is to expand to include 58 lodges and a fully refurbished hotel by next May.
There are already 15 lodges and hotel rooms from the Highbullen Hotel that are available for booking.
Each lodge has a deck with a hot tub as well as a fully equipped kitchen, beds and space for dogs.
The Mole Resort will join the wider L+R portfolio, which includes Chewton Glen in Hampshire, the Lygon Arms in the Cotswolds and Cliveden House and Spa in Berkshire.
Hotel room rates start from £80 a night, while a self-catering lodge that can sleep up to eight people starts from £219 per head.
Adrian Bradley, who led the project for L+R Hotels, said: “Not only will our guests be able to relax in their lodges surrounded by spectacular countryside views, but there’s plenty for them to do, both within the resort, and with ready access to world-class beaches and outstanding countryside.
“From swimming, fitness classes, golf and tennis, to pickle ball and trout fishing, it’s the perfect place for families, groups and couples to do as much or as little as they like, and our resort team is excited to welcome them.”
L+R, owned by brothers Ian and Richard Livingstone, owns and manages a hotel portfolio with approximately 21,150 bedrooms across the UK, Continental Europe, the US and the Caribbean.
