Loungers has said like-for-like sales across its 165-site estate have been just 1.7% down since it commenced its reopening programme on 4 July.
The group has now opened all sites other than Leicester, which was delayed due to the extended lockdown in the city. It published the like-for-like sales update today for the period from 4 July to 2 August.
The board said: “Whilst these are still early days, we are encouraged by the initial strength of our trading performance to date and remain confident the company will emerge strongly from this period.”
Loungers operates 138 Lounges and 29 Cosy Clubs. Its Lounge sites are predominantly in secondary suburban high streets and small town centres, while its Cosy Club sites are typically in city centres and larger market towns.
