London-based women-only members’ club closes Mayfair hub

London-based women-only members’ club, AllBright, has closed its flagship Mayfair townhouse after entering administration for a second time.

 

The Guardian revealed the networking and events business, which was co-founded by Debbie Wosskow and Anna Jones in 2018, emailed members last week to announce it would be closing its London Townhouse, which is home to restaurants Madeline and Claudette, a bar, rooftop terrace and several social and events spaces.

 

Documents filed on Companies House show that AllBright had appointed administrators Begbies Traynor to oversee a pre-pack sale to AllBright Collective Limited for £8m in July 2023.

 

At the time, The Times reported the members’ club was bought out of administration by Cain International, investment firm run by Jonathan Goldstein and chelsea backer Todd Boehly.

 

The Caterer understands the Townhouse arm of AllBright has since re-entered administration, while its online events platform will continue.

 

Members will instead be given access to a lounge at the Old Session House in London’s Farringdon, according to The Guardian.

 

AllBright’s individual Townhouse memberships started at £1,980 a year, with corporate membership at £1,500.
