The education caterer achieved growth of over 300% over the past year and invested in several new senior positions.
Lexington Independents, Elior UK’s education caterer, has reported growth of over 300% over the past year.
The caterer secured new business wins worth £7m during the period with independent schools such as Putney High School and Hurlingham Independent School, which are both in south west London.
Lexington Independents also invested heavily in its team over the past year, having recently appointed a new business director, Charlie Hayward, and operations director, Bonnie Dankbars, to bolster its presence in the sector.
It brought in Roshni Kondakis as nutrition manager and Leah Corper as nutritionist to address the rising interest in health and wellbeing, while introducing Ben Martin and Jon Mateides as development chefs, responsible for teaching and menu management.
Sean Ritson, divisional director of Lexington Independents, said: “We are delighted with the growth and development of the business over the year. Looking ahead, we will continue to champion agile, client-focused catering solutions that support student well-being and educational needs and to set a new standard for partnership-driven, innovative catering in the UK.”
Lexington Independents is a specialist division of Lexington Catering, which is also owned by global caterer Elior UK.
