Levy UK + Ireland, the sports and hospitality division of Compass Group UK and Ireland, has secured a five-year contract with Nottingham Forest FC ahead of the 2021/22 season.
The deal, of which the value is undisclosed, will see Levy take over match day food and beverage experiences at the City Ground stadium and bolster its conference and events operations. Nottingham Forest previously ran all its catering in-house.
Levy plans to partner with local food and drinks companies and has a goal of using a minimum of 80% UK-produced seasonal fruit and vegetables by the end of 2021. The culinary team will work with Nottingham Forest to develop plant-based options and enhance the existing menu.
A new till system and digital screens will be introduced to speed up service and reduce physical contact, with app ordering set to be rolled out throughout the season.
Levy will also support events at City Ground on non-match days and plans to build relationships with local business owners and industrial estates in the area.
Jon Davies, managing director of Levy UK + Ireland, said: “After a trying season for football clubs and fans, we are thrilled to be partnering with Nottingham Forest FC to support them in bringing the very best in food and beverage experiences to City Ground.
“A big focus for us in our work will be to support and nurture local food and hospitality talent in Nottingham and promoting the professional development and welfare of everybody we work with.
“We are confident that we will give fans yet another reason to look forward to returning to City Ground in the 2021/22 season.”
This year Levy has secured catering contracts at sporting venues including Newbury Racecourse and Watford FC.
