The Village Pub
The Calcot Collection's Village Pub in Barnsley, Cirencester, has unveiled a fresh new look in its six bedrooms. A creative collaboration between the collection's lead interior designer Nicky Farquhar and Caroline Todhunter, the Village Pub's bedrooms have been enhanced with pops of colour and contemporary touches, while retaining their character and quintessential Cotswolds feel.
Pooky angle-poised lamps, bamboo desk-side chairs, lambswool rugs from Scottish brand Moon, chunky wooden oval mirrors and quirky coat-hooks.
Each bedroom benefits from individual touches, such as wallpaper with a dragonfly motif by Jennifer Shorto and headboards created with Lewis & Wood fabrics.
The pub also offers a locally sourced menu with traditional butcherâs cuts from the nearby Paddock Farm, vegetables from the village and home-rolled quail and black pudding Scotch eggs.
