Landmark London unveils multimillion-pound renovation

The Landmark London hotel has unveiled a multimillion-pound refurbishment of 291 of its 300 bedrooms and selected suites.

The five-red-AA-star Marylebone hotel has said the refurbishment combines contemporary flair and amenities with the opulence and glamour of its heritage, rooted in the romantic era of train travel.

Alex Kravetz Design was appointed to lead the refurbishment, which has taken just over two-and-a-half years, completing just in time for the Landmark London's 120th anniversary.

The redesigned rooms feature new beds and furnishings, while bathrooms have been fitted with Italian marble to capture the hotel's classic style.

The latest refurbishment follows design changes to the hotel's spa, restaurants, bar, event spaces and atrium.

General manager Andrew Batchelor, said: "We have refurbished the hotel rooms and some public areas to enhance the luxurious guest experience. The hotel remains true to its historical roots; we've made fine adjustments to maintain the unique identity that is key to the Landmark London brand."
