Kensington Caffè Concerto relaunched following £1.2m refurbishment

Caffè Concerto's High Street Kensington branch in London has reopened following a £1.2m refurbishment.

Opened in March 2007, the site has had natural pink Italian marble from Tuscany installed, a hand-made silk flower wall, velvet seating and hand-blown glass chandeliers, described as taking the venue "into a new direction of light, airy and modern decor, but with a nod to timeless craftsmanship, deco architecture and early 20th-century glamour".

Co-owner Mohammad Borjak said: "Part of being a successful business and brand is staying responsive to trends and innovating beyond consumer expectations. We have had wonderful comments from our faithful patrons and we're happy that we can continue to pioneer the way in elegant high street dining by introducing new themes and ideas, while staying true to the Caffè Concerto ethos."

Caffè Concerto operates 18 sites in London and one in Birmingham, as well as outlets in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Dubai.
