Independent caterer the Ripe Avocado secures two new listings

Independent catering company the Ripe Avocado has been named an accredited caterer at two new venues, Coombe End Manor in the Cotswolds and the Arches London Bridge.

 

Coombe End Manor is a former 16th-century friar that is now a manor house available for private and corporate hire, family holidays, weddings and wellness retreats.

 

It has enough bedrooms to sleep up to 20 guests in the main building and also features a pool, spa and gardens.

 

Meanwhile, Arches London Bridge is a former industrial space that now functions as a contemporary events venue.

 

Jay Burgesson-Carter, founder of the Ripe Avocado, said: “As much as we love working in London, it’s always a treat for our team to deliver events in stunning manor houses with extensive grounds, such as Coombe End Manor in the Cotswolds.

 

“The venue is impeccably decorated, and the gardens are beautifully maintained. We simply can’t wait to be back there, taking our ethical events to the countryside after delivering a successful week-long event for Rivals, Disney+.”

The Ripe Avocado was founded by Burgesson-Carter, former managing director of caterer Bovingdons, earlier this year.

 

At the time of the launch, he told The Caterer: “Although the industry is made up of brave, creative and cultural geniuses, throughout my career I’ve always felt a little under-represented [as a black man], and I wanted to build a catering company that’s got diversity at its heart.”

 

The Ripe Avocado is an accredited caterer at several venues across the UK, including the British Museum in London’s Bloomsbury and the Manor Estate in Somerset.
