James joins the company as it continues to target growth in the capital
Ian James has been appointed general manager at two of Cheval Collection’s London properties.
James joins the group from the Fellows House, Curio Collection by Hilton, and the University Arms Hotel, part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection in Cambridge.
He also worked across a number of hotels in the Hilton portfolio in the UK over the course of a decade.
The two properties James will be overseeing at the serviced apartment company are Cheval Gloucester Park and Lexham Gardens by Cheval Maison.
The move came as the company, which operates just over 950 units globally, continues to target growth in London.
John Philipson, COO at the Cheval Collection, said: “We are excited to welcome Ian to these two exceptional properties, bringing with him great depth of experience.
“His passion for delivering the highest standards, coupled with his dedication to fostering a collaborative team environment, makes him an ideal leader for our properties.”
Cheval Collection currently operates nine locations in London, with Lexham Gardens by Cheval Maison the most recent to open in 2021. It also has sites in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
