Hotel, Restaurant & Catering (HRC), IFE, International Food & Drink Event and IFE Manufacturing are set for visitors to register for the events taking place at ExCeL London on 20-22 March 2023.
Leading names in the UK and international culinary scene including Restaurant Story head chef Tom Philips, A. Wong, head chef Andrew Wong, legendary pastry chef Frédéric Bau and National Chef of the Year winner Ben Murphy will be taking to the stage to share their skills and construct some delicious dishes.
At International Salon Culinaire hundreds of chefs will take part in over 100 live and static competitions. This year’s competition will see the return of popular categories including the NHS 4 Nations Chef Challenge, the Alaska Seafood Masters, Stadium Experience Chef Team of the Year and the Country Range Student Chef Team Challenge, along with popular 2022 additions such as the Apprentice Challenge and Pub Chef of the Year.
The Craft Guild of Chef’s National Chef Team of the Year competition, in association with Waitrose & Partners, will also have a new format with the competing chefs challenged to construct bowl food dishes.
Hospitality business owners and managers will have the opportunity to explore quality suppliers from across four distinct show areas at HRC – Foodservice, Professional Kitchen, Hospitality Tech and Design & Décor – providing everything needed to update and elevate their front- and back-of-house offering.
The Pub Show @ HRC will return bigger and better for 2023, featuring an all-new partnership with the British Institute of Innkeeping, who will be offering drop-in sessions and presentations providing much needed and valuable expert advice as part of ‘Helpline Live’.
Plus, the show will be partnering with IFE to launch ‘Drinks @ HRC & IFE’, a single, central location for visitors to source drinks products from alcohol and low/no to soft drinks to hot beverages.
Elsewhere at IFE the all-new Sustainability Stage, sponsored by Elopak, will be hosting discussions taking an in-depth look at a range of key issues within ESG including building resiliency, changing consumer expectations, creating a truly circular economy and much more.
Hospitality professionals will have the opportunity to meet with suppliers from across the UK and from more than 90 countries worldwide, with dedicated international pavilions and show sections for key product categories such as vegan and plant-based, bakery, snacks and confectionery. The New Products Tasting Theatre will allow visitors the opportunity to explore the product ranges of key distributors and sample products from up-and-coming suppliers.
IFE will be partnering with leading organisations, press and associations in the worlds of food, drink, retail and hospitality including the Food & Drink Federation (FDF), which will be curating a full day of content on Tuesday 21 March.
FDF’s Head of Industry Growth, Caroline Keohane, says: “IFE and IFE Manufacturing bring together a stellar range of events and speakers to highlight the opportunities and challenges across our sector. With such a vast range of companies and products on show, it’s the perfect chance to build the networks and find the leads to grow your business.”
