London's Hotel Café Royal is set to launch ‘Fashion Now', an in-room wardrobe service and personal shopping experience in partnership with Matchesfashion.com.
Launching in September, and exclusive to guests at the luxury, 160-bedroom hotel, the new service was initially created for guests who have lost or delayed luggage. Both men and women will have a selection of key pieces from active, formal or evening wear collections delivered within 90 minutes once the order has been placed with the hotel concierge.
Suite guests will also be able to request an additional in-suite personal shopping experience. After a telephone consultation with a Matchesfashion.com stylist, a curated wardrobe chosen from more than 450 brands will be delivered to the resident's room accompanied by a stylist to run through the pieces.
The service is intended for those in need of style advice or time poor guests looking to update their wardrobe. The service can also be pre-booked to ensure clothing is waiting in the hotel room ready for when guests check-in.
Guests staying in the hotel's suites will also have private access to Matchesfashion.com's flagship store in Marylebone, and a personalised shopping service in-store.
François Xavier Schoeffer, hotel manager for Hotel Café Royal, said: "Travelling can be full of surprises - whether it's mislaid luggage or simply the desire to try something new. In an era of experiential luxury, we aim to provide an exceptional level of service for our guests and ‘Fashion Now' offers residents the luxury of a shopping trip without ever having the need to step foot outside the hotel."
