Top chefs from across the country have contributed recipes to the new cookbook.
Hospitality Action has launched a new recipe book to raise funds to support vulnerable people in the sector.
The book, named Miracle Mince, includes recipes from 25 of the UK’s top chefs including Tom Kerridge, Angela Hartnett, Raymond Blanc, Anna Haugh, James Martin and Simon Rimmer.
All royalties from sales will be used to fund the work done by Hospitality Action to help people struggling across the sector.
Miracle Mince is organised into chapters based on different types of meat and offers tips on how to transform the store-cupboard staple on a budget.
Recipes include Kerridge’s classic beef burger, Hartnett’s lasagne, Atul Kochhar’s keema paratha and Heston Blumenthal’s mince and chips.
Mark Lewis, chief executive of Hospitality Action, said: “The ongoing cost of living squeeze is placing unprecedented pressure on the finances of hospitality workers and millions of others across the population.
“For many households, the onset of winter means choosing between food or fuel, eating or heating. Following on from the success of our first recipe book, Chefs at Home, which we published during the pandemic, Miracle Mince is our way of offering families a host of tasty, pocket-friendly recipes they can cook at home without breaking the bank.”
Miracle Mince is available to buy on Amazon and in high street bookshops.
