Hospitality Action is kicking off 2017 with an array of fundraising events, with the aim to raise £1.8m to correlate with its 180th birthday.
Challenges include: the 2017 Great Manchester 10K Run on 28 May; Le Tour de Cuisine Cotswold Cycle Challenge on 5 June; the British London 10K Run on 9 July; the Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 on 30 July.
The charity will also hold several events throughout the year such as: Back to the Floor 3 at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London's Park Lane on 7 April; Tour of Highclere Castle on 20 April; and Hospitality Action's 180th birthday party, 10 July.
Penny Moore, chief executive of Hospitality Action, said: "2016 was a record-breaking year as we managed to raise a staggering £1.61m. We continue to receive fantastic support from industry heavy-weights, whether from top venues, high-profile chefs or associations, it's something we're extremely grateful for.
"We want to make 2017 extra special by encouraging industry folk to take on a challenge, event or two and we are introducing even more fun events for everyone to get involved with. We've set our sights high but have every confidence in our supporters, both new and old, that we will have even greater things to celebrate by the end of the year."
