Burger restaurant chain Honest Burgers is to open its second Soho site this September.
The 2,000 sq ft restaurant on Brewer Street will be split across two floors and accommodate 80 covers.
This comes after Honest Burgers secured a £17m refinancing package from Santander in February. At the same time it announced its intentions to grow the company to 50 sites by 2020.
The package included an £8m capex loan to allow the company to open seven new sites this year and next.
Shelley Sandzer acted for Honest Burgers in securing the deal.
Casey Phillips, partner at Shelley Sandzer, said: "We are delighted to secure the perfect site for Honest Burgers in this high footfall location, situated nearby other well-known occupiers such as Carbon, Bill's, Carhartt, Palace, Randall and Aubin, Hix and Black Lock to name but a few. This signing is proof that brands can evolve and adapt to different areas, and that top restaurants brands are still sought after in prime Central London locations."
Honest Burgers was founded by Dorian Waite, Tom Barton and Phil Eles. It opened its first site in Brixton in 2011. It now has 25 sites across the UK including 23 in London, one in Cambridge and one in Reading.
The menu is split in to three sections, free range chicken, Honest butcher's beef and market vegetables. Burgers include Tribute (beef with red onion relish, smoked bacon, cheddar, lettuce and pickles with rosemary salted chips); Fritter (cauliflower, tomato, sweetcorn, shallots, spices, coriander and cucumber yoghurt with rosemary salted chips); and California (mustard-fried beef, bacon, American cheese, burger sauce, onion, tomato, pickle and lettuce with rosemary salted chips).
Each outlet also serves breakfast items such as smoked bacon, garlic mushrooms and fried egg on sourdough, pork and egg with beans, bubble and squeak and breakfast gravy, and an Honest brunch with smoked bacon, Cumberland sausage, black pudding, fried egg, garlic mushrooms, bubble and squeak, Honest beans and sourdough.
