A £2m claim brought against the Edwardian Group by Parker Lloyd Capital has been dismissed by the High Court.
It was alleged the Edwardian Group agreed to pay the claimant a 1% âfinderâs feeâ if they introduced the group to a significant lender.
On 16 October, following a six-day trial in July 2017, the High Court ruled in favour of the Edwardian Group. The court accepted the evidence of the Edwardian Groupâs witnesses, finding that no contract had been entered into, and dismissed the claim in its entirety.
Peter Anscomb, senior corporate director at Edwardian Group, said: âWe are pleased that this baseless court case has been brought to a close. As an open and honest business that is committed to building a positive legacy in London and the UK more broadly, we were extremely disappointed by the false allegations made against us.â
