Heston Blumenthal, the chef-proprietor of Bray's three-Michelin-starred Fat Duck, has agreed to appear at the Caterer and Hotelkeeper Chef Conference.
Blumenthal, who has just confirmed that he will be opening a 140-seat restaurant in London's Mandarin Oriental hotel in 2010, will take to the conference stage in a one-on-one interview.
He is expected to talk about the breadth of his culinary experiences over the past two years, as well as future projects, during the session.
In addition to running his flagship restaurant and its sister eaterie, Brit grub pub restaurant the Hind's Head (also in Bray), Blumenthal's recent commitments have included a number of television series that have catapulted him in to the mainstream spotlight, the most recent being Heston's Feasts and Big Chef Takes on Little Chef, both aired on Channel 4.
