The long-delayed Heckfield Place has confirmed its official opening date as 1 September 2018.
The 46-bedroom hotel announced a late 2018 opening last year and has now confirmed its first official opening date, with bookings due to open 8 May, six years after it was originally expected to open.
The luxury country house hotel near Hook in Hampshire, owned by billionaire Gerald Chan, was expected to open in April 2012, but has been delayed by continual changes to the original plans.
It has also been confirmed that Skye Gyngell has remained with the project as chef director. Ben Thompson is overseeing the hotel's interior design.
