Splendid Hospitality Group has acquired the 53-bedroom Stanwell hotel near Heathrow Airport for an undisclosed sum.
The company, which will now become the operator of 20 hotels in the UK with more than 2,000 bedrooms, has bought the property from private investment company Albion Capital.
It is now considering "appropriate branding options" for the hotel, which features a function space for weddings and a fitness studio.
The Stanwell will become Splendid's second hotel close to Heathrow Airport, joining the Ibis Styles London Heathrow Airport East, which will open later this year following its transformation from the Master Robert hotel.
Other hotels in Splendid's portfolio include the Grand in York and Hilton London Bankside.
Stuart Bailey, chief executive of Splendid Hospitality Group, said: "This acquisition further cements our foothold at Heathrow airport and surrounding business parks.
"The hotel will continue to develop its strong links with the local community and will continue to operate independently as the Stanwell hotel until we agree the appropriate brand option for the next phase of the hotels' transition."
