Northern Ireland-based Hastings Hotels has announced the continued investment of over £60m into its growing portfolio.
In addition to investing £53m on its seventh hotel, the Grand Central hotel which is due to open in Belfast in 2018, which at 304 bedrooms is set to be the largest in Northern Ireland, it has also completed a £10m renovation programme on its six other hotels.
The company recently completed a £4.8m, three-year renovation of its 98-bedroom Culloden Estate & Spa in Holywood (pictured). It has also recently invested £1.5m in a grand ballroom at its 64-bedroom Everglades hotel in Derry; £2m in the 272-bedroom Belfast Europa hotel, including a new entrance and lobby bar; and £1m in a new look, high-tech conference and event facility, lobby and bar area at its 105-bedroom Stormont hotel in Belfast.
