A 150-bedroom Hampton by Hilton hotel will open in Lancashire following the signing of a franchise agreement between Monte Hospitality and Hilton.
Due to open in 2020, the hotel will be located on the outskirts of Blackburn in one of Lancashire's largest commercial developments, the £100m, 90-acre Frontier Park, which is currently under development at Junction 6 of the M65 motorway.
Monte Hospitality was incorporated as a limited business at Companies House in August 2018 and it is hoped that the new hotel will help attract international brands to invest in Lancashire.
Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice-president, development, EMEA at Hilton, said: "Visitor numbers to Lancashire have grown for a sixth consecutive year and projects such as Frontier Park will further enhance the commercial appeal of the county. Hampton by Hilton Blackburn will be the town's first internationally branded hotel."
Irfan Ali, director at Monte Hospitality, added: "Hampton by Hilton Blackburn will be our first branded hotel development and we are proud to be partnering with this market-leading hotel operator. Lancashire is in need of an internationally recognised hotel and this project will meet the growing demand for quality accommodation in the area."
Hampton by Hilton is aimed at "value-conscious" guests and is one of 15 Hilton brands. There are currently 28 Hampton by Hilton hotels in the UK, with a further 20 in the pipeline.
