In Pictures: Dishes from Greggs’ 'fine-dining' restaurant

Greggs has collaborated with the executive head chef of Fenwick, Mark Reid, to launch Bistro Greggs in the Newcastle-based department store.

The month-long pop up will launch on Friday (1 December) and will be available for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.

Greggs Benedict

The 80-cover “fine dining” experience features Greggs’ popular menu items “enhanced through Fenwick’s culinary flair and gastronomic excellence”.

Dishes will be served by waiters dressed in traditional white shirts, ties and Bistro Greggs aprons.

Festive Bake

The steak bake, for example, will be paired with truffled creamy dauphinoise potatoes, green beans and a serving of almonds, while the Greggs Yum Yum will be drizzled in caramel sauce and macadamia brittle.

"Tea and Cake"

Other dishes from the menu include the Greggs Benedict, the sharing brunch “high tea” for two and the Greggs peach melba.
