Greg Mace has joined upmarket retirement community group Riverstone as chief experience officer.
The former Rapport chief executive will be responsible for enhancing the resident experience at Riverstone’s first two locations in London’s Kensington and Fulham.
The group has plans for further developments for over 65s, all of which offer five-star hospitality for residents alongside amenities including landscaped gardens, spas, swimming pools, restaurants and bars open to the public, cinemas, and 24-hour concierge services.
Mace, who has run companies providing front of house and concierge services to high-profile businesses, said: “I am incredibly excited about the Riverstone vision of creating luxury retirement communities in prime London locations.
“As chief experience officer, my role is focused on creating exceptional experiences for our residents. Using the experience gained over the last 30 years in the hospitality industry will enable me to build a new resident experience team to deliver this dream and build a culture and ethos that sees Riverstone recognised as a great place to work.”
Riverstone chief executive Jason Leek added: “I have worked with Greg before and have seen first-hand his ability to build a high-touch service proposition and to do so by building outstanding teams with a strong culture. I am very confident Greg will add real value to the Riverstone business and we look forward to seeing him deliver on our ambitions for our new residences when they open next year.”
"Our priority is making sure our residents have the best possible experience in their new Riverstone apartment which is why we are taking such a proactive approach in ensuring each of our amenities and communal spaces are of the highest quality and we are assembling a world class team to deliver this.”
