The second Gordon Ramsay Burger site will be opening at Harrods in London’s Knightsbridge this year, the first in the UK following the original Las Vegas venue in the US.
No opening date has yet been confirmed, but the menu is understood to feature gourmet burgers, sides, hand-cut crispy fries, ‘secret sauces’ and milkshakes, all using locally-sourced ingredients.
The group plans to open up to 50 sites across the UK in the next five years as well as roll out the Bread Street Kitchen concept, a financial report for Gordon Ramsay Restaurants confirmed last month.
Chef-restaurateur Ramsay’s restaurant business encompasses 15 sites in London, including the Savoy Grill and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, which has held three Michelin stars for more than 19 years. The group has a further 17 restaurants internationally, including in the US, France, Dubai and Singapore. Ramsay’s casual dining brands include Bread Street Kitchen, Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, Gordon Ramsay Steak and Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen.
