Gary Neville’s Hotel Football in Manchester hit its highest turnover on record, with revenue growth of £1.2m year-on-year.
The 133-bedroom hotel opened in 2015 under GG Hospitality, which is headed by former Manchester United players Neville and Ryan Giggs, next to Old Trafford stadium.
It joined Marriott International’s Tribute Portfolio in 2019.
In the 12 months to December 2023, the hotel welcomed momre than 52,400 guests, up from 48,760 in 2022, with room rate and occupancy growth at 18% and 10% year-on-year.
Hotel Football held nearly 300 events during the year for over 18,600 delegates.
Chris Hull, general manager at Hotel Football, said: “We are very proud to be the UK’s leading football hotel, and we pride ourselves on ensuring all of our guests travelling from Manchester, the wider UK or abroad have the very best experience possible, whether they are joining us for matchday dining or for a longer break at the hotel.
“The next 12 months will be another huge year for us at Hotel Football, especially as we continue to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Manchester United’s famous treble winning season, along with the men’s Euros football tournament.”
It comes after Manchester's Stock Exchange hotel, also owned by Neville and Giggs, saw losses widen in 2022, despite revenue increasing by 32%.
